Zoya Akhatar directorial Gully Boy got praised by the audience as well as critics. Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are garnering the highest praises in ways more than one. But that's not all, Siddhant Chaturvedi as MC Sher has left everyone in disbelief with his screen-presence in his maiden film.So much so that, he got a hand-written letter and a bouquet of flowers from Amitabh Bachchan. Siddhant’s popularity both on and off-line is off the charts and one can see the specks of a star he is all set to become. But it was not easy for him. In fact, like any other breakout actor he has also had his share of struggles, in the face of nepotism and we have proof.

Earlier, over two years ago, Siddhant had taken to Facebook to pen an tell-all post about how is only going to work harder and make a name for himself despite the sly trapping of nepotism."Nepotism. You beauty! Stop favouring your pals so much...I might get insecure, and work even harder! You slyly pass employment to your loved ones, and an opportunity for the talented to become legends. #HailNepotism #WorksforMe" He had written.
