Siju Wilson appears as priest in the first look poster of 'Varayan'

The first look poster of Malayalam's most famous artist Siju Wilson starer film 'Varayan' has been out. Bollywood superstar Manju Warrier unveiled the poster through her social media handle. The poster looks promising as Siju Wilson is portrayed as a priest who is injured. On the poster, a priest is holding the hand of an attacker holding a knife in his hand. The poster also shows that the film is not only about a normal Christian priest, but also has some exciting elements hidden in it.

The film's tagline reads 'Terror Behind Smile', which also points to a mystery. Meanwhile, as soon as the poster was shared, netizens started comparing Simmu Wilson's look to Mammootty's upcoming film 'The Priest'. As the two actors share the same look in their first look posters, the discussion becomes even more interesting. Siju Wilson plays the lead role in 'Varayan', directed by debutant director Jijo Joseph. Leona Lishoy won the lead as the leading lady.

The screenplay of the film is written by Danny Capuchin. The well known Rajesh Raman has cranked the lens and Jonkutty has roped in as editor. Prakash Alex is composing music for 'Varayan'. The film is supported by Premachandran AG under the banner of Satyam Cinema. Actors Jude Anthony, Joy Mathew, Vijayaraghavan, Manianpila Raju, Aristo Suresh have acted as supporting cast. Siju Wilson, who last appeared in 'Varkhakal Ithuvare', gained fame with performances in 'Premam' and 'Happy Wedding'.
