1. Take some tomato juice and rub on the skin like a face lotion. This can be applied on the face, neck, hands and legs etc. Wait for 15 minutes then wash it.

2. Squeeze half a lemon and in that juice add some rose water. Apply this on the tanned skin like face and body. Then rinse after 15 minutes. This too should be done daily in the evening. This removes the tan which collects on the skin daily thus your skin will stay tan free and there will not be any darkening.

3. Take a small piece of banana and rub on the face. Keep this for 15 minutes then wash the wash. This remedy is the best detanning recipe for dry facial skin.

4. Rub a piece of papaya slice on the face every day and leave for 10 minutes then wash off. This will make the skin colour stay fairer in summers and doesn’t allow sun tanning.

Detaining face and body pack for tan-free skin

Here is a recipe of detanning pack for the body. You will need:

Masoor dal powder

Besan

Milk

Turmeric

Lemon juice

How to prepare this detanning pack

Mix 3 teaspoonful of masoor dal powder with 3 teaspoonfuls of besan in a bowl. Add 3 teaspoonful of lemon juice or squeeze and entire lemon into it. Add ¼ teaspoonful of turmeric powder. Now, using some milk, mix the pack and make sure that the quantity is slightly loose so that it gets applied on your face and body really well. If that would be thick it will be difficult. Apply this anti tan pack and wait for it to get dried then wash with cold water. This is ideal for once in a week usage for the tan free skin.

Tips for tan-free skin (detanning the skin)

Always use sunscreen with SPF 20 at least when you go out in the sun.

Drink 7-8 glasses of water so that the skin stays hydrated and skin doesn’t get parched.

If possible avoid going out when the sun rays are more direct like between 12- 3 pm.

Use the detanning treatments stated above either the daily one or the ones that you should do 3 times in a week.

Use lip balms with SPF to prevent lips getting sun damage.
