Sindhu to face Okuhara at World Badminton Championships

In the women's singles event of the World Badminton Championships, the Indian player PV Sindhu have a match with Japanese Nozomi Okuhara in which the former will to clinch her first gold medal.

The duohave faced each other six times so far. Sindhu defeated  Chen Yufei of China to reach the final.

In the other semi-final, 2012 Olympic bronze medallist Saina Nehwal lost 21-12, 17-21, 10-21 against Okuhara as she settled for a bronze medal.
