Sivakarthikeyan's 'Don' is pushed to May 13 to avoid clashing with 'RRR'

Director Sibi Chakravarthy's much-anticipated entertainer 'Don,' starring Sivakarthikeyan and Priyanka Arul Mohan, has been pushed back till May 13 this year. The film was originally scheduled to release on March 25.

"We would like to thank Sivakarthikeyan for his humble gesture in helping us postpone the release date of 'Don,' as the previously planned release date coincided with the release date of 'RRR,' and both films are our esteemed projects," Lyca Productions, which is producing the film alongside Sivakarthikeyan's production house, said.

"Dear fans and moviegoers, the release date of Don has been pushed back to May 13th." "We hope you treat us with the same passion and affection that you always do." Sivakarthikeyan will play a college student in the film, which is a campus entertainer.

Apart from Sivakarthikeyan and Priyanka Arul Mohan, the film also stars S.J. Suryah, Munishkanth, Soori, Kaali Venkat, Bala Saravanan, and Sivaangi Krishnakumar, a young vocalist who rose to fame after appearing on the famous TV cooking show 'Cooku with Comali.'
