Former Karnataka CM SM Krishna to join BJP

New Delhi: Veteran leader of Karnataka and Former External Affairs Minister SM Krishna quit Congress Party last year. On Saturday, Karnataka Unit President BS Yeddyurappa broke news about the joining of Krishna in Bharatiya Janata Party.

Congress party never adjoined him for any initiative, that led Krishna to resign from the party. After his resignation, many Congress leaders asked him to 'think again' but Krishna refused to be a part of Congress.

Karnataka BJP Chief Yeddyurappa offered Krishna to join the party, BS Yeddyurappa said, "If he comes, it will add more strength to us."

SM Krishna, while talking about his decision said, "Congress didn't need mass leaders any more.They (Congress) only want managers, who can handle a situation."
