Scientists' new innovation can heal your broken smartphone

Scientists have a develop a ion-dipole method, which can heal your broken smartphone. As per te reports, this new technology is not been used recently, as researchers are working on it. This is the stretchable polymeric substance that can recover itself.

Researchers said that when this material is separated into two parts, it can go back to its original state, with no marks of damage.

Chao Wang from University of California said in a statement, "I have been researching making a self-healing lithium ion battery, so when you drop your cell phone, it could fix itself and last much longer."

Wang, while talking about the new technology of recovering the damaged smartphone, said, "Ion-dipole interactions have never been used for designing a self-healing polymer, but it turns out that they are particularly suitable for ionic conductors."
