New Delhi: In the crisis of epidemic, India has emerged as a troubleshooter for many countries. India is supplying Corona vaccine to these countries from essential commodities till now. The Ministry of External Affairs said on Thursday that India has sent 361.94 lakh corona vaccines to different countries, out of which 67.5 lakh doses have been supplied as grant-in-aid and 294.44 lakh on order. Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Srivastava has stated that the supply of corona vaccine to countries will continue in a phased manner over the coming weeks and months, but to ensure that domestic requirements are taken into account for the national immunization program. Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said that India has also introduced locally prepared vaccines to all members of the diplomatic corps and their families located in the country, not only to the diplomats of the countries but also to UN agencies and India. India has given anti-coronavirus vaccine as a gift to countries like Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Bahrain, Oman, Afghanistan, Barbados and Dominica. Countries to which vaccines have been sent on a commercial basis include Brazil, Morocco, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Egypt, Algeria, South Africa, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. What did the WHO say? The World Health Organization has praised the move to give free corona vaccine to many countries.
