On Sunday, Some political party leaders get arrested for violating Wildlife Act . let us share here that BJP leaders from Sirpur (T) Assembly constituency and 20 others were arrested for allegedly violating Wildlife Act and for causing injuries to policemen while participating in the protest in support of Podu farmers at Kondapalli village in Penchikalpet mandal on April 9. For your information let us share that in this context,, Asifabad Additional Superintendent of Police said that the accused were BJP’s Dr P Harish Rao and Gollapalli Veerabhadra Chary, 20 residents of Kondapalli and eight from Rebbena village in Bejjur. They were produced before a court in Sirpur (T) town and sent to judicial remand. However, it is noted that Harish Rao, Veerabhadra and others were booked for provoking locals of Kondapalli to occupy forest lands and their role in damaging police vehicles and injuring five constables while they were shifting the leaders from Kondapalli to Penchikalpet police station on April 9 night. Harish Rao was evading arrest citing pretty reasons, Sudheendra stated. The ASP further stated that Harish Rao tested negative for Covid-19 and dismissed claims in social media platforms that the leader was infected.
