Mamata wants to lead Opposition, Sonia Gandhi's days are over, says Dilip Ghosh

New Delhi: The reaction of Bjp leader Dilip Ghosh to the Trinamool Congress's (TMC) refusal to attend a meeting of opposition parties called by the Congress before of the winter session of Parliament has sparked controversy. Congress has been criticised by Dilip Ghosh, who claims that Sonia Gandhi's time is almost up. Mamata Banerjee now wants to be the Leader of the Opposition, he said.

"These tactics are very old, every party wants to become the head of opposition parties," BJP Vice President Dilip Ghosh remarked when the TMC did not attend the opposition conference held by the Congress. Mamata Banerjee wishes for the same thing. Sonia Gandhi's time has come to an end. In reality, before the start of the winter session of Parliament on Monday, leaders of 11 opposition parties, including the Congress, met to discuss strategy on a variety of subjects, including the bill to abolish the three agriculture laws. Leaders of opposition parties highlighted the need for legal assurance of Minimum Support Price at a meeting held in the chamber of Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge at Parliament House, according to reports (MSP). TMC was not present at the conference.

Apart from Kharge, the meeting of opposition parties was attended by deputy Congress leader Anand Sharma, Chief Whip Jairam Ramesh, Congress leader in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, and Chief Whip K Suresh. At the opposition meeting, Supriya Sule of the NCP, Tiruchi Siva of the DMK, Elamaram Karim of the CPIM, Manoj Jha of the RJD, Vinay Vishwam of the CPI, Hasnain Masoodi of the National Conference, NK Premachandran of the Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP), ET Mohammad Bashir of the IUML, and others were present.
