New Delhi: Geeta Arora aka Sonu Punjaban has been sentenced to 24 years in prison by the court. It is being told that Sonu Punjaban has been found guilty of kidnapping, human trafficking, and prostitution in Delhi's Dwarka court. According to the media report, Additional Sessions Judge Pritam Singh sentenced Sonu Punjaban's associate Sandeep to 20 years of imprisonment.
Sonu Punjabban and her aide Sandeep were convicted in the case of kidnapping, rape, and prostitution of a minor girl. According to the police, the case is from September 2009. It is being told that the victim girl was caught in the love affair of Sandeep, an aide of Sonu Punjaban. He took her to a house in Laxminagar and raped her. After the rape, Sandeep sold the victim girl to a woman known as Seema Aunty. The victim girl was only 12 years old. Seema Aunt pushed the girl into the business of prostitution. Police said that Seema used to give an intoxicating injection to the girl.
Seema Aunt sold the victim girl to Sonu Punjaban. Sonu Punjaban used her for prostitution. According to the news, Sonu used to give Spasmo Proxyvan and other drugs including alprax to the girl before sending her to customers. The girl complained to the police of Najafgarh police station on 9 February 2014.
