The opened to a great start and is earning well even in the international markets. The Prince of Tollywood took to Instagram and shared a couple of photos from his recent holiday. Sharing a family photo, Mahesh Babu on Instagram wrote, "Off to another memorable holiday... This one is special...#CelebratingMaharshi (sic)" Namrata Shirodkar also shared a few photos and they are too cute for words. The star wife shared a cute picture of Mahesh Babu with daughter Sitara and wrote, "It’s all about selfies and Sitara has a new job !! All of a sudden." Going by the photos looks like Mahesh Babu and family is holidaying in Germany.

Maharshi marks the 25th film of the Superstar's career and is a very close and special project for him. The film released on 9th May 2019. The Vamshi Paidipally-directed film opened to an overwhelming response and went on to make a decent collection on the following days.
The film has collected over Rs 175 crore gross at the worldwide box office in less than two weeks and earned a huge share of more than Rs 90 crore for its distributors.
