SP gets a setback in UP elections, MLC Ramesh Mishra joins BJP

Lucknow: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has given another big blow to the Samajwadi Party (SP). Today Samajwadi Party (SP) MLC Ramesh Mishra has joined BJP. At the same time, MLA Bala Prasad Awasthi from Lakhimpur, who left BJP in the past, has again joined BJP today. This is being considered a political setback for the SP, because the BJP is inducting more and more MLCs of SP into the party.

At the same time, the CBI investigation is going on against Ramesh Mishra in the mining scam. Former minister Gayatri Prasad Prajapati is in jail in the mining scam during the previous SP government in the state. At the same time, the CBI has also questioned Ramesh Mishra in this case. During the UP assembly elections, the BJP is continuously weakening the SP in the Legislative Council. At present, there are only 48 members of the SP in the Legislative Council. While the saffron party is getting stronger and has 36 members in the council.

In the Legislative Council today, giving a setback to the SP, the BJP has joined its member Ramesh Mishra in the party. In fact, last year itself, three MLCs including Ramesh Mishra had met CM Yogi Adityanath and since then there was speculation that these three might join the BJP. At that time Ramesh Mishra, Ravi Shankar Singh Pappu and CP Chand met CM Yogi.
