Uttar Pradesh: Congressmen protesting in front of Raj Bhavan arrested

Lucknow: In the last few days, political stir has increased in the country. In the meantime, in Rajasthan, the government versus the Governor is running, in the war, Congress is running the Speak Up for Democracy campaign by performing in front of the Raj Bhavan of every state. Under this, the police have taken into custody the Congressmen who were protesting before the Raj Bhavan in Lucknow. Congress workers were protesting under the leadership of state president Ajay Kumar Lallu. PL Punia, Congress in-charge of Chhattisgarh was also involved in the demonstration.

Congress has tightened its grip on the BJP due to the ongoing political crisis in Rajasthan. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi says that BJP wants to destroy democracy by toppling the governments elected by the people. Congress is campaigning all over India to save democracy. Congress wants to bring the battle of Rajasthan on the road. However, Speaker CP Joshi had moved the Supreme Court against the decision of Rajasthan High Court. That petition has been withdrawn on Monday.

The court has given an appeal to withdraw the petition. The governor has asked the government for clarification on the proposal of the Gehlot government to call the assembly session. On the other hand, the petition of the BJP MLA is to be heard in the Rajasthan High Court. Senior Congress leader and former Rajya Sabha MP PL Punia has accused BJP of doing politics with Sachin Pilot. However, the BJP has not responded to these allegations and has described it as baseless.
