Last year, Bajaj had said that it is working on a new electric scooter in which the battery can be easily replaced. This will allow users to continue the journey without charging. Apart from this, the battery of this scooter can also be charged at home.
Features of the new variantThe ex-showroom price of Bajaj Chetak Blue 3202 is Rs 1.15 lakh. It has new cells installed, which claim to give more range without changing the battery capacity. Its range has increased from 126 km to 137 km. The old Urban variant was priced at Rs 1.23 lakh, i.e. the new variant is Rs 8,000 cheaper.
Charging and FeaturesThe Chetak Blue 3202 takes 5 hours and 50 minutes to fully charge with a 650W charger. Its features include keyless ignition, color LCD display, sports mode, and Bluetooth connectivity. The top speed of this electric scooter is 73 kmph. It can be purchased in four colors—blue, white, black, and gray.
New Chetak 3201Apart from this, the company has also launched a new edition called Chetak 3201 in August. Its ex-showroom price is Rs 1.30 lakh and it can also be purchased from e-commerce platform Amazon. The range of this scooter is 136 kilometers on full charge and it has an IP 67 rating, which makes it water resistant.
