Sports Academy players bag 6 gold, 3 silver, 2 bronze medals in Canoe Marathon

MP State Water Sports Academy players gave a brilliant performance At National Canoe Marathon Championship. Showcasing the best of their talent, the players bagged 11 medals including 6 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals.

Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia said that Madhya Pradesh feels proud when our players come after winning medals. She asked the players to set their goals and achieve success by working hard.

The Sports Minister was addressing the medal winners of the National Canoe Marathon Championship at TT Nagar Stadium. The Sports Minister congratulated all the players and sports coaches who earned medals after performing brilliantly in the championship. Director Sports and Youth Welfare Department Pawan Kumar Jain, Joint Director Vinod Pradhan and Joint Director BS Yadav, Chief Instructor of Madhya Pradesh Kayaking and Canoeing Academy Pijush Baroi were present on the occasion.

 Sports Director Pawan Kumar said that in our academy, high-level facilities and resources are being provided to the players for training, hence better results are coming. The players of Water Sports Kayaking Canoeing Academy made Madhya Pradesh proud by winning a total of 11 medals including 6 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze in the three-day National Canoe Marathon Championship held at the lower lake of the capital.
