After losing against New Zealnd, Sri Lanka made this undesirable record

London: New Zealand defeated Sri Lanka by 10 wickters on Saturday in the third match of the World Cup. Batting first, the Sri Lankan team fell for a mere 136 runs. In reply, New Zealand won the made 137 runs in 16.1 overs. Thanks to an unbeaten half-century innings from Martin Guptill (73) and Colin Munro (58) which helped the New Zealand in winng the match without any loss. With this defeat, Sri Lanka registered an undesible record.

As per the information, the Sri Lankan team has suffered a 10-wicket defeat for the first time in the history of the World Cup. This is the first time in the history of Sri Lankan cricket that the team has suffered a defeat by a margin of 10 wickets in a World Cup match. However, three times in ODI cricket, Sri Lanka have lost the match by ten wickets, but so much of the team's poor performance in the World Cup was never seen before.

In the history of cricket, Sri Lanka's team in the history of ODI cricket has lost the match by 10 wickets for the sixth time. However,  the Bangladesh has record of the getting defeated by 10 wickets. Bangladesh has lost match by 10 wickets for 12 times.
