Sri Lanka will start their T-20 league, tournament can start from August 15

Colombo: Amidst the global pandemic corona virus, the Cricket Board of India (BCCI) is considering organizing the IPL 2020 (IPL 2020), now the situation with the ICC Cricket World Cup 2020 has become almost clear that this year the World Cup Australia does not want to be held. As such, BCCI has started preparing for IPL 2020, in the same sequence, BCCI is considering organizing IPL 2020 in Sri Lanka, because the corona epidemic in Sri Lanka is under control.

But with the news that is coming now, the IPL 2020 event in Sri Lanka may get a big shock. According to the news, Sri Lanka is considering to launch the T20 league in its own country, and this T20 cricket league can start in Sri Lanka from 15 August. If the T20 Cricket League starts in Sri Lanka, then another option has to be explored for IPL 2020. However, the BCCI has the UAE option to host the IPL 2020. According to the news, it can start the T20 league with 5 teams in Sri Lanka.

Each team will consist of 16 players, 6 foreign cricketers can be included in it. Before the Sri Lankan cricket team is going to start its second season of practice, this season will not include the legendary Sri Lankan bowler Lasith Malinga.
