The famous actress of small screen Srilakshmi Kanakala who was suffering from cancer for the last several days, died on Monday. Survived by her husband Peddi Rama Rao and daughters (Prerna and Ragalena), the family is mourned by the death of Rajiv Kanakala's sister and star anchor Suma's sister-in-law. According to media reports, Srilakshmi, who was popular due to TV serials like 'Agnipulu' and 'Ruthu Geetam', was known for her sociable nature. Her mother Lakshmi died in 2018, and her father Devdas (a famous acting guru) died in 2019. Srilakshmi's death comes as an annoying matter for the Kanakals. Writer-actor Harsh Vardhan has urged well-wishers to refrain from visiting Kanakalas' residence when the outbreak of coronovirus intensifies. She said "I am making this request after talking with the husband of Srilakshmi Garu".
