SBI MD Anshula Kant becomes World Bank managing director

New Delhi: Anshula Kant, Managing Director of State Bank of India, has become the Managing Director of World Bank. The central government has accepted his resignation. SBI has given this information to the Bombay Stock Exchange. His resignation will be considered accepted from August 31. She has been appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of the World Bank.

As MD and CFO, she will be responsible for the financial and risk management of the World Bank Group. Let me tell you that Anshula Kant has graduated in Economic Honors from Lady Shri Ram College for Women and post graduate degree in Economics from Delhi School of Economics.

It may be known that Anshula Kant managed revenue of $ 38 billion and total assets of $ 500 billion while holding various positions in SBI. State Bank of India is the largest in the government sector and nationally. The government has recently merged eight banks, taking a major step in the banking sector. The banking sector is plagued with NPAs.
