In the first innings of the third Test against South Africa at the Oval yesterday the All-rounder Ben Stokes scored a hundred. He had secured his fifth Test century in spectacular style with successive sixes off South Africa's left-arm Keshav Maharaj on Day Two of the Test match. Stokes along with England's lower order made sure Cook's effort did not go in vain and helped his side post a decent first inning score in what is Oval's 100 Test.
