Richa Chadha is facing criticism because of her one controversial tweet. Various people called it insulting to the Indian Army. Richa Chadha is under the radar after she posted a tweet on the 2020 Galwan clash, in which several Indian Army soldiers died. This generates hate towards the Hindi film industry. All along there have been and are strong patriots in the industry who get thrown under the bus by a few and all good work done, is then met with spite and venom." The famous villain of South Industry and Bollywood Prakash Raj reacted to Akshay`s tweet and came in support of Richa Chadha, "Didn`t expect this from you @akshaykumar..having said that @RichaChadha is more relevant to our country than you sir. #justasking." Prakash Raj also came in support of Richa and wrote, "Yes we stand with you @RichaChadha... we understand what you meant." This all started with Richa Chadha tweet, "Galwan says hi". After this the actress took to the social media to apologize. The actress wrote, "Even though it can never be my intention in the least, if the 3 words which are being dragged into a controversy have offended or hurt anyone, I apologise and also say that it would sadden me if even unintentionally my words have triggered this feeling in my brothers in the fauj (army) of which my own Nanaji has been an illustrious part." She further added, "My Mamaji was a paratrooper. It's in my blood. A whole family is affected when a son is martyred or even injured while saving the nation which is made up of people like us and I personally know how it feels. It is an emotive issue for me."
