Subhas Chandra Bose’s grandnephew writes to PM Modi

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's grandnephew wrote an open letter to the Prime Minister of India. He highlighted the need to document "the true history of India?s freedom struggle" in his letter.

The grandnephew, Chandra Kumar Bose appealed to PM Narendra Modi to mention the "Liberator of India" Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, in his Independence Day speech. Chandra wrote, "This year, when you speak on 15th August, from the ramparts of the Red Fort, do not forget to mention about Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose." The letter written to PM Modi read that right from 1857 onwards, many sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our motherland. But the final onslaught on British imperialism was certainly the battle of the Indian National Army and subsequent INA trials held at the Red Fort, which completely destroyed the loyalty and allegiance of the British Armed Forces, which shook the very foundation of the British Empire.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's grandnephew shared his open letter on Twitter also mentioning the British realized that they could no longer hold on to India due to the wars with Subhash Chandra Bose's INA. Further, he claimed that this has been confirmed by Lord Clement Attlee, Lord Mountbatten, Dr B R Ambedkar, Major Gen GD Bakshi, Ajit Doval and many others who are aware of the correct history.
