Suicide Squad first trailer released; watch now

The Suicide Squad is directed by James Gunn is one of the most awaited comic-book adaptations of the year. A super-fun take on the titular villains-turned-heroes team trailer is out for you to stream on. People are more excited for this movie after seeing Gunn’s work on the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise at Marvel Studios.

In the trailer you can see there is a coronavirus pandemic reference, multiple punchlines, and exciting new additions to the DC family. Lunatic Harley Quinn looks crazier while John Cena’s character seems to provide plenty of comic relief. In this movie, everything from the costumes to the marketing to promotion looks goofy.

In the trailer, you can see they have brought back some of the old cast and introduced several new characters, along with a glimpse of what the story would be. This movie looks goofy where everything from the costumes to the marketing to promotion seems excellently managed. The movie is a follow-up to the 2016 film Suicide Squad directed by David Ayer. The names for the old cast include Viola Davis, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, and Jai Courtney return in their roles of Amanda Waller, Harley Quinn, Rick Flag, and Captain Boomerang respectively. Whereas the new characters include Bloodsport, Peacemaker, The Thinker, Blackguard, Polka-Dot Man, Savant, Arm-Fall-Off-Boy, Ratcatcher, King Shark, Weasel, The Javelin, and others played by Idris Elba, John Cena, Peter Capaldi, David Dastmalchian, Michael Rooker, Nathan Fillion, Daniela Melchior, Steve Agee, Sean Gunn, and Flula Borg, respectively.

Talking about the squad in the trailer seems to kicks off executing a plan to rescue Harley Quinn i.e Robbie only to find her even before the plan went into motion. The Suicide Squad will be released in theatres on August 6 this year worldwide.
