UP: Excise sub-inspector shot himself with license gun

Lucknow: In a suspicious situation in UP, the Excise Sub-Inspector has shot himself with a licensee gun. He was posted in Rae Bareli. The police reached on information, filling the dead body and sent it for postmortem.

The son of Ram Bharat Tiwari, a resident of Mujuna Tiwaripur in the Kurebhar police station area, Ganesh Tiwari shot himself with a licensed gun at his residence in Sanjaynagar at around 3 pm on Wednesday. Due to which he died on the spot. Nearby people rushed after they heard the sound of the bullet. His blood-soaked body was found at the scene. People reported the incident to the police.

Station In-charge Manabodh Tiwari inspected the site of the incident and sent the body for post-mortem. Ram Bharat Tiwari was posted as Sub Inspector in Rae Bareli in Excise Department. He came home twenty days ago on medical leave. Family members said that he was worried about his illness for a long time. Vijay Kumari, wife of the deceased, died one and a half years ago. The deceased has three sons Durgesh, Lalit and Kishan. Kishan is not married yet. Station Head Manbodh Tiwari said that at first sight, the case seems to be of suicide. The situation will become more clear after the post-mortem report comes. At the moment, nothing has been revealed.
