On Monday, Students' Union President of Jai Narain Vyas University Sunil Choudhary met Ashok Gehlot, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. The meeting took place at the Jodhpur Bhawan in the city of Delhi. The topic of discussion was the Jai Narain Vyas University and the development and infrastructure related issues that currently surround it. Sunil Choudhary drew the Chief Minister's attention towards the University's research facilities and held detailed discussions with him about the various projects that need to be undertaken in and around the University. Sunil Choudhary demanded that a special status be given to Jai Narain Vyas University giving reason that it is the largest university in West Rajasthan and is the hub for lakhs of students aiming for higher education and experience. The Students' Union President further held that the University lacked the adequate research infrastructure and subjects that are relevant for career choices in the currently fast growing and evolving professional realms of the world. Sunil Choudhary requested the Chief Minister to give priority to launching development projects in the University. He said that most of the students who graduate from the University assume high positions of responsibility and serve the nation. To improve the efficiency and quality of education at Jai Narain Vyas University, there needs to be an introduction of new subjects and the necessary faculties for them. Sunil also demanded the setting up of a separate department for research based subjects and courses. Sunil Choudhary also brought to the Chief Minister's notice how the Students' Union of Jai Narain Vyas University is efficiently representing the university's students and their issues. He assured Ashok Gehlot that he will continue putting in efforts for the betterment and development of the University with the support of the Government.
