Sunil Subramanian appointed as administrative manager of Team India

The former Tamil Nadu left-arm spinner Sunil Subramanian has been appointed as the administrative manager of Indian men's cricket team. His tenure will be for one year and will join the Indian team in Sri Lanka before the start of the second Test in Colombo.

Subramanian has 285 wickets to his name from 74 matches in First Class cricket. He captained Tamil Nadu in Ranji Trophy and is a National Cricket Academy (NCA) certified coach.

He is best known as ace Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin's childhood coach.
