New Delhi: The Supreme Court of the country has offered to invite Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari to assist in the hearing of the court. This case is about the demand for adopting electric technology in public transport. During the hearing, the CJI asked the counsel of the Central Government that, can the Transport Minister come and give us information regarding the scheme of technology of electric vehicles? BJP attacks Congress, says, "Did Digvijay Singh help 26/11 terrorists?" The Chief Justice said that it should be considered as an invitation, not a summons as he will have a clearer picture of the scheme about electric vehicles than the officials. The Additional General said that if the Union Minister is called by the top court, it will have political implications. However, the court has not yet passed any order in writing to invite Nitin Gadkari to the Supreme Court. Hooda targets Abhay Singh, says- "Meeting without economic survey...." The apex court has said that we are not giving any orders to the government, rather we are trying to know what the government has plans for electric vehicles. The CJI said that the Union Minister has issued several statements regarding electric vehicles. If the Union Minister wishes, he can send any of his officers to the court, who should tell the court full information and plan in this regard. With this, the SC said clearly that there can be no compromise on pollution. This matter is important not only for Delhi NCR but for the whole country.
