Supreme Court gives big relief to BS4 vehicle buyers

The new emission standard BS6 is going to start in India from April 1, 2020. Due to which all automobile companies have decided to update their lineup. However, with the introduction of the new standards, the old BS4 vehicles have remained a matter of discussion. At present, the Supreme Court has given permission to register all the vehicles sold before 31 March, giving a big decision.

It was previously banned by the Supreme Court on registration of BS4 vehicles. Behind this, the big vehicle was to have a sale of more than a limited number of vehicles by March 31. Due to the Corona epidemic spreading in India, the registration of BS4 vehicle could not be done. On which the FADA appealed to the court to allow such vehicles to be registered. However, the thing to note here is that this discount does not apply to BS4 vehicles sold in Delhi-NCR.

According to the report of the Indo-Asian News Service (IANS), a bench headed by Justice Arun Mishra confirmed that all registrations on the government's e-vehicle website will be included. Temporary registration will also be allowed in this. Solicitor General Aishwarya Bhati who represented the Central Government in the hearing said, "no details have been uploaded on the e-portal of the 39,000 vehicles BS4 compliant sold till 31 March. She further said, " The details of the remaining vehicles are available on the e-vehicle website. "
