The apex court has issued a notice to the central government asking it to reply within three weeks. The top court has asked the central government to take a stand. The court said that the government and airlines should discuss the solution. The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing for 3 weeks. SpiceJet said during the hearing in the apex court that nowhere in the world the full amount of the cancell ticket was refunded. We want to sit down and discuss with the Ministry of Civil Aviation to resolve the matter.
Along with this, the Supreme Court of the country has asked the airlines companies why the time for refund of cancell ticket money should not be reduced in less than 2 years and whether people can use this money to book tickets for other routes.
