Hathras Case: Demand for investigation under supervision of former judge, Supreme Court will hear today

New Delhi: The top court is scheduled to hear today on a petition related to the Hathras rape case. In this PIL, CBI-SIT investigation has been demanded, which should be supervised by a former judge. Whether it is the judge of the Supreme Court or the High Court. In this rape case involving a 19-year-old girl, Yogi Government has already constituted SIT, and orders for CBI inquiry have also been given.

This petition has been filed by social worker Satyam Dubey. In this, accusing the Uttar Pradesh police of not investigating the case properly, it is said that a proper investigation of the case is necessary. It has also been said in the petition that whenever the trial starts, it should not be in UP but in Delhi. A case of alleged rape of a 19-year-old girl has come to light in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. The girl died during treatment at Safdarjung Hospital. So far 5 policemen have been suspended in the case. It also includes the Superintendent of Police.

At present, the case of Hathras has also taken a political form. Political parties are going to Hathras, targeting the state government and meeting the victim's family. On the other hand, there is also a claim that a conspiracy was hatched to spoil the atmosphere by giving a religious angle to the matter.
