New Delhi: The Varanasi Gyanvapi case has reached the Supreme Court. A petition has been filed in the apex court regarding the matter. After this, Chief Justice (CJI) NV Ramanna has said that he will look into the matter. The Management Committee of Anjuman-e-Intejamiya Masjid Varanasi has moved the Supreme Court to stay the survey of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple-Gyanvapi Masjid complex ordered by the Varanasi Court. Senior advocate Huzefa Ahmadi has said that we need urgent hearing, because survey has been ordered. There was a demand for a stay on the decision of the Lower Court of Varanasi before the CJI-led bench on the Gyanvapi Masjid case. Huzaifa Ahmadi, on behalf of the Anjuman Arrangements Masajid Committee, said in front of the CJI that action will start on the lower court's decision today, so the matter should be heard today. At least issue an order to maintain status quo on the matter. After this CJI Ramanna said that we have not seen the documents yet. No order can be issued without seeing the document. The top court refused to issue an order to maintain status quo for the time being. However, the Supreme Court has agreed to hear the matter soon.
