Survivor Series: John Cena added to Smackdown Live men’s team

WWE fan gets surprised day by day as one of the biggest event coming closer. Smackdown Live commissioner Shane Mcmahon announce on his twitter account he chose John Cena who is the 16th time champion and who is hustle, loyalty, and respectful person in the WWE today. John Cena’s status for Survivor Series has been on-and-off for months. The most recent talk was of bringing him in as the guest referee for Brock Lesnar’s match. At the time, the Universal champion Brock Lesnar was set to face The Modern Day Maharaja Jinder Mahal, but Jinder Mahal loss against AJ Styles on Smackdown Live which bring to change in the main event of the Survivor Series.

Most observers figured AJ Style would join team captain Shane McMahon’s to represent Smackdown Live in five on five-man elimination tag team for the November 19 pay-per-view (PPV). But with The Phenomenal One now set to face The Beast Incarnate, the commissioner revealed on Twitter moments ago that he had an even bigger name to join his squad.

Last we saw Cena, he was a “free agent” working for both brands, Raw so John Cena could face Roman Reigns at No Mercy in September. His rivalry with The Big Dog could explain his joining up with Team Blue... except that it doesn’t look like Reigns will be in the traditional Survivor Series match in Houston, it will suit on Shield versus New Day.
