In the case of Sushant Singh Rajput's death a few days ago, the Enforcement Directorate summoned him in connection with the money laundering case. In which he was asked to be present at the Enforcement Directorate office on 19 August. But Rumi Jaffrey could not come due to his mother's deteriorating health, and he asked for a day off. Therefore, he has reached the Enforcement Directorate office today. Significantly, Sushant Singh Rajput's father has filed a case against actress Rhea Chakraborty and his family. The Enforcement Directorate has filed a case of money laundering on the late actor's manager Shruti Modi, including Rhea Chakraborty and her family. According to media reports, the Enforcement Directorate can once again interrogate Rhea Chakraborty and other suspected criminals related to the case. Rhea Chakraborty has been questioned twice by the Enforcement Directorate so far. On the other hand, the Enforcement Directorate has questioned Rhea Chakraborty's brother Shouvik Chakraborty thrice, the late actor's manager Shruti Modi three times and Siddharth Pithani twice.
