NEW DELHI: Senior BJP leader and former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has reacted to the objectionable remarks made by senior Samajwadi Party leader and MP Azam Khan in Parliament. She said Azam Khan's statement has crossed all limits of decency. After his statement, he feels that he is mentally ill. In a tweet, Sushma Swaraj said, Azam Khan is known for such statements. He made a remark while addressing the Chairman in the House against parliamentary decorum. I think he should be severely punished for this statement. Several other women MPs have also reacted to Azam Khan's remarks. In the Lok Sabha, all parties including BJP, Congress, Trinamool Congress, NCP, on Thursday strongly condemned Azam Khan's remarks on Presiding Chairman Rama Devi, moving away from the party line and demanded strict action from the speaker in the matter. During zero hour, leaders of parties including women MPs from different parties spoke in the Lower House. Women MPs demanded the speaker to take action that could become example.
