Sushma Swaraj offers condolence to the Kansas victim’s family with the assurance to help

Kansas firing case, in which an Indian student named Sharath Koppu shot dead was condoled by the External Affairs Minister (EAM) Sushma Swaraj on Sunday. While paying condolence she wrote: “Kansas incident - My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. We will follow this up with the Police and provide all assistance to the family. @IndiainChicago @IndianEmbassyUS@NavtejSarna”  

Notably, a student from the University of Missouri-Kansas City or UMKC was killed after an unknown person opened fire at a restaurant in Kansas City which is based in the United State of America. Later, the 26-year-old identified as Indian man who hailed from Telangana.

As per the reports of ANI the man received five bullet injuries due to which he was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital but unfortunately he succumbed to the cruelty of the culprit.

Sandeep Vemulakonda, Sharath’s cousin expressed: “My cousin (Sharath Koppu) moved to the USA in January this year after he received full scholarship to study at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Last night, we got to know that he was brutally killed by gunshots fired by unknown people around 8 pm (USA time). This is a very sad day for all of us,”

Meanwhile, Sandeep was the one who urged to the EAM minister to apprehend the culprit and supporting victim’s family to bring the dead body to India.
