Vehicle manufacturer Suzuki Motorcycle India overtook the entire auto industry in July 2019 due to positive sales growth. The company posted impressive growth percentages to beat the auto industry's slowdown. In all, Suzuki Motorcycle India has sold 69,236 units in July 2019 with an increase of 18 per cent, compared to 58,805 units in July 2018. In the first quarter (April-June 2019) of the current financial year, Suzuki Motorcycle India sales have been 2,74,309 units. Ltd., said, "July Suzuki Motorcycle India was an exciting month as both motorcycles and scooters were launched in both the range of new products and variants, which are for Indian consumers. Our product offers are further strengthened. Suzuki Motorcycle India is overwhelmed to achieve the huge response and demand of its products, which further turns into higher sales growth. Suzuki also launched the Special Edition of the Suzuki Access 125 in July 2019 with a new color option. In addition, Suzuki Burgman Street 125 has also launched in a Matte Black shade. Suzuki Access 125 has been the company's best-selling 125cc scooter. Suzuki also launched its new Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, priced at Rs 1.71 lakh (ex-showroom).
