"Mob Lynching has become an epidemic in the country today and I don't think we can keep our faces away from any harsh reality. So there's no point in misinterpreting it," she said.

"I believe it is very commendable that artists, filmmakers, writers are engaged in our country and they are all affected by what is happening in society. So we need a strong law and I have been trying to talk about mob violence, mob violence for the last 3-4 years and even called for a human safety law. However, it is very sad that things have worsened rather than improved," she said.
