On Saturday, Indian Table Tennis players secure seat in Upcoming Tokyo Olympics games. Senior paddler Sharath Kamal and Manika Batra are going to play in the mixed doubles event. On this achievement Batra state that she had trained really hard for this moment and was extremely happy with their achievement earlier in the day. However here it is to be noted that the Indian pair stunned the top-seeded Korean pair of Sang-Su Lee and Jihee 4-2 in the Asian Olympic qualifiers final in Doha to secure their Olympic berth. In an Statement Batra state that “Today, honestly I am really happy with myself. To be able to play at the level of Jihee Jeon and Sang-Su Lee (the Korean pair), I was able to tackle their serves and attack comfortably, which is really a big satisfaction for me as a player.” Further added as “The confidence and calmness I felt allowed me to be aggressive along with Sharath bhaiya, when we were especially 0-2 down. I trained really hard in Pune and I worked really professionally.” However, here it is to be noted that Sharath Kamal has already secured a singles quota for the Tokyo Olympics. This match is going to play in Olympics games in Japan. Players are looking forward to creating history at the Tokyo Olympics. The veteran paddler, who has been the flagbearer of the sport in India for nearly 2 decades, will be making his 4th Olympic appearance this year.
