Winter, the season where your skin and hair tends to dry and if not taken care can make matters worse. There are many problems that can occur individually and seem endless, but there are simple solutions that can help you get rid of dry skin and hair during winter.

Hydrate

Staying hydrated and drinking enough of water is the best way to keep your skin and hair hydrated during winter. As we tend to have less water during winter and have lot of warm drinks. We don’t give our body the required cool water it needs. Water will keep you hydrated and away from dehydrated drinks.

Moisturise

Moisturising your skin will keep it soft and dry-free. Moisturise the affected areas like your hands, nails, feet and lips. Keep them well moisturized at all times. Use a lip balm to keep your lips soft and supple.

Conditioner is a must

Shampooing too often may dry out the scalp and hair. Use a mild shampoo and lukewarm water, as very hot water can be harmful to your hair and scalp. And don’t forget the conditioner. If you want to go natural, coconut milk is an excellent conditioner.
