Since the Taliban captured Afghanistan, the woes of US tech companies have increased as to how to manage the content created by the group because it is called a terrorist organization by some governments in the world. Social Media Joint Facebook has reported that it has treated the Taliban as a terrorist group and banned the content it is creating on its platform. But according to reports, Taliban members are still using Facebook's end-to-end encrypted messaging service WhatsApp and are talking directly to Afghans after the company considered it a frightening organization. A Facebook Inc spokesperson said that the company is closely monitoring the situation in the country and WhatsApp will take action on any account related to sanctioned organizations in Afghanistan, including removing the account. Speaking of the same micro-blogging platform Twitter, the Taliban spokesperson eats on the platform and has thousands of followers and also tweeted a series of tweets about his capture of Afghanistan. When Reuters questioned Twitter about the Taliban's use of the platform, the company cited its policies against violent organizations. According to Twitter's rule, it does not approve of the use of platforms for groups that promote terrorism or violence against the common people.
