New Delhi: In a tragic incident, Tamil actor Mohan, recognized for his supporting roles in films during the late 1980s and early 1990s, has passed away at the age of 60. His lifeless body was discovered on a roadway in Madurai's Thiruparankundram district, Tamil Nadu. Mohan had been facing severe hardships and poverty for an extended period and struggled to find work after his wife's passing years ago. Faced with limited acting opportunities, he was forced to beg for survival and lead a life on the streets. On July 31, it was reported that Mohan's body was found on the street, prompting the Thiruparankundram police to send it to Madurai Government Hospital for post-mortem examination. Subsequently, his family members in Salem were informed, and after the post-mortem, his body was taken back to his hometown. In Salem, Mohan is survived by two brothers and three sisters. Authorities have not uncovered any signs of foul play and believe that Mohan succumbed to natural causes due to his severe living conditions. Nevertheless, the police have refrained from releasing further information about the incident. Mohan's contributions to Tamil cinema have left a lasting impact. He achieved breakthrough recognition in Kamal Haasan's 'Apoorva Sagodharargal,' which hit the screens in 1989, where he portrayed one of Kamal Haasan's close friends.
