Chennai: Activists of the radical Islamic organization Popular Front of India (PFI) have put up posters against Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi, after which a case has been registered against the accused and further investigation has been started. The case is of Madurai. A poster has been put up in Madurai criticizing Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi, calling him a supporter of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
In the poster it is written in Tamil that you (RN Ravi) withdraw your statement. Don't spit venom in support of RSS. It has also been written in the poster that the governor should not work against the interests of the public. After the information of the poster, Thallakulam Police has filed charges against PFI officials Muhammad Abudahir and Syed Isaac. At the same time, the police has said that the investigation of the case is going on. Actually, Governor RN Ravi had recently attended a book release ceremony in Chennai. During this, he had said that some organizations are trying to end the communal disharmony in India. He had claimed at the function that Popular Front of India (PFI) is a dangerous organisation. It is believed that after this statement of the governor, this poster has been put up as a retaliation.
