Top 10 most valuable Indian brands of 2025: Tata Group leads again, retains top spot

We have international brands all over the world, who have established their feet here in India as well. Thanks to globalization and economic reforms all over, top MNCs of the world and leading brands are operating in the country today. Similarly, there are some Indian brands too, that are striding globally, running successfully worldwide. And they are not simply companies today, they have emerged as ‘brands’ having a potential influence and a remarkable presence.

There are Top 10 most valuable Indian brands which have been ranked in the latest Brand Finance Global 500 Report 2025. Tata Group has retained its position as the most valuable Indian brand with a brand value of $31.6 billion, with a 10% increase. If we talk about the Top 100 most valued brands, Tata Group ranks 60th in the world.

Tech company Infosys lies a little close ranking as the second most valuable Indian brand. Notably, Infosys is also the third most valuable IT services brand globally. It stays consistent with its position for the fourth consecutive year. Infosys continues to stay strong with its performance and innovation, adopting AI too. It achieved the highest compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in brand value among the IT services. It is ranked 132nd worldwide. 

Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) is now the fastest growing Indian brand in 2025. It reached $13.3 billion with a remarkable 36 percent increase in brand value. LIC successfully retained its AAA brand strength rating in 2025.

The HDFC Group debuted this year in the list of most valuable Indian brands. It’s brand value stood at $14.2 billion. Other notable brands include Larsen & Toubro (L&T) which valued at $7.4 billion and the Jio group that had a brand value of $6.5 billion, making their way to the global stage with time.

The global brand value market is led by United States, which accounts to 52.9 percent of the total. It has an upper hand over other countries with more than half of the total global percentage. India stands at the 8th spot with a total of 1.7 per cent of the most valuable brands in the Brand Finance’s Global 500 2025.

Ajimon Francis, Managing Director, Brand Finance said, “Indian brands are making a powerful mark in the global rankings, with companies like Tata Group, Reliance, Infosys and LIC leading the charge. Their impressive growth and strategic expansion reflect India’s rising influence in diverse sectors, underscoring the nation’s excellence and global competitiveness.”

Globally, Apple is the most valuable brand valued at $574.5 billion, followed by Microsoft at $461 billion.
