From Tanishq to Kalyan, jewellers are giving a chance to buy gold for Rs 100 only

New Delhi: Jewellers in India have started selling gold online for a small price of Rs 100 after the global epidemic corona virus spread. The corona epidemic has forced jewellers to change their traditional ways of doing business. Last year, gold sales across the country were completely paralyzed due to lockdown across the country, but it also played a key role in promoting online gold sales.

It has launched Tata Group's Tanishk (Tata Group's Tanishq), Kalyan Jewellers India Ltd. (Kalyan Jewelers India Ltd), PC Jewellers Ltd. And Senco Gold & Diamonds has been forced to sell gold online for Rs 100 directly in partnership with its website or digital gold platform. Consumers can also get delivery of the purchased gold at home, but for that, they will have to buy at least one gram of gold.

Here gold digitally is not new in India. Safegold, supported by mobile wallets and platforms such as Augment Gold for All and the World Gold Council, is already offering such offers. Jewellers still avoided selling gold online. This was mainly because people in India preferred to go to stores to buy gold.
