TDP announced first candidates list for Assembly elections 2019

Amaravati: The first Candidates list of the ruling Telugu Desam Party has been released on Thursday night. The party chief announced 126 candidates’ name for the April 11 assembly election. Name of Chief Minister and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh figured in the list declared by Naidu himself at a late-night press conference.

He called it "Mission 150 Plus", as the party planned to succeed at least 150 out of the absolute 175 seats in the assembly. He said the main list of the contender for the Lok Sabha decision, scheduled at the same time, would be declared Friday. "We have adjusted various conditions and selected the competitors. It is presently dependent upon the people to favor these competitors as I take the liability of their future in my hands," Naidu said.

Naidu's child Lokesh too will be fighting his first election battle from Mangalagiri, in the Amravati capital region. Additionally, Chandrababu had obliged the demand by senior leaders who needed their sons and daughters to assume control over their political inheritance forward.
