India's fielding coach R Sridhar donates Rs 5 lakh in fight against Covid-19

New Delhi: Around the world, people are worried about the coronavirus epidemic. At the same time, governments and doctors are working hard to deal with it. Along with this, even the big celebrities of the country and the world are not behind in contributing on their behalf to beat this epidemic. In the same act, the fielding coach of the Indian cricket team, R Sridhar, has decided to contribute Rs 4 lakh for the war against the coronavirus.

R Sridhar has decided to give Rs 2 lakh to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund and Rs 1.5 lakh to the Telangana CM Relief Fund, along with that he will also donate Rs 50,000 to the Sikandra Cantonment Board. Sridhar wrote in a tweet that, "As a proud Indian citizen, I have decided to give 2 lakh and 1.5 lakh rupees to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund and Rs 50,000 to the Secunderabad Cantt Board."

Let me tell you that at this time many players are coming forward openly in the battle with Corona virus. Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma have given assistance of three crore rupees. Rohit Sharma has decided to give 80 lakhs and Ajinkya Rahane 10 lakhs. Apart from these, Sachin Tendulkar has decided to provide assistance of 50 lakh rupees. The BCCI, as an institution, has announced a donation of Rs 51 crore. Sourav Ganguly has also come forward to help the needy.
