Guwahati: A T20 match between India and Sri Lanka is to be played today in Guwahati, Assam. But before this, Indian captain Virat Kohli has been injured before the T20 match against Sri Lanka in Guwahati. On the eve of the bout, he suffered a small finger injury to his left hand while taking a catch in a practice session. India and Sri Lanka are going to play T20 after 22 months. The match will start at 7 pm Indian time. Indian team physio Nitin Patel treated Kohli immediately. He was seen applying magic spray on Kohli's finger on the field. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has also reached Guwahati for this match. India had beaten the West Indies 2–1 in their last T20 series, while Sri Lanka had lost 0–3 to Australia. The series also looks tough for the Sri Lankan team. Sri Lanka have not won a single bilateral T20 series against India so far. The first match of the three-match T20 series between India and Sri Lanka at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium will be played on Sunday.The focus of this series will be on two of India's veterans - Shikhar Dhawan and Jaspreet Bumrah, who are returning after injuries.
