Mumbai: In the second Test of the Test series between India and New Zealand, Team India defeated the Kiwis by 372 runs to clinch the match and the series. This is Team India's biggest win in Test cricket in terms of runs. The Indian cricket team had set New Zealand a target of 540 runs to win the match, but New Zealand were bowled out for just 167 in the second innings. Team India scored 325 runs in their first innings, with Kiwi bowler Ejaz Patel bowling historicly to take all 10 wickets for India. For Team India, Mayank Agarwal batted behterin and scored 150 runs. New Zealand were then bowled out for just 62 in the first innings. India declared their innings at 276 in the second innings. And gave New Zealand a target of 540 runs to win. But in the second innings too, New Zealand were bowled out for just 167. Team India spinners were instrumental in wrapping up the Kiwi team early. For India, Ravichandran Ashwin took 4 wickets for 34 runs, while Jayant Yadav took 4 for 49. One wicket was named after Akshar Patel and a Kiwi batsman was run out. For New Zealand, Darrell Mitchell top-scored with 60 and henry nicholas contributed 44 runs.
