Indian cricketer's wife cheated of 10 lakhs, UP police engaged in investigation

New Delhi: Jaya Bhardwaj, wife of Indian fast bowler Deepak Chahar, has been allegedly duped of Rs 10 lakh. In this case, Deepak's father Lokendra Chahar has lodged a complaint at Hariparvat police station in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. According to the FIR, he has filed a case against Parikh Sports of Hyderabad. It is being told that Rs 10 lakh was taken for a deal, which has not been returned yet. Dhruv Parikh and Kamlesh Parikh, the owners of the firm accused in the case, have been managers of the Hyderabad Cricket Association.

According to the report, Deepak Chahar's family lives in Man Sarobar Colony in the Shahganj area of the Agra district. Dhruv Parikh and Kamlesh Parikh, who were office-bearers of the Hyderabad Cricket Association, had opened a firm and made a deal with Deepak Chahar's wife under it. The accused had a deal at Sanjay Place. According to the deal, on October 7, 2022, they took Rs 10 lakh from Deepak's wife Jaya. According to the complaint, the money has not been returned yet.

The complaint states that they have been threatened to kill for demanding the money back. Sections of abuse along with threatening to kill have also been added to the FIR. It is being told that Jaya is a resident of Delhi. Jaya and cricketer Deepak Chahar got married in June last year. The police have registered a case in the matter. The police have started an inquiry and investigation into this matter. Apart from Deepak Chahar's wife Jaya, information is also being taken from Deepak's father, as well as the police is also collecting information about the owners of the firm.
